At Stotz Equipment, we provide customers the opportunity to understand their operation on a deeper level. We believe this understanding can influence important business decisions and have a positive impact on a farmer’s operation. In this case, one of the larger farming operations who works with Stotz Equipment recognizes this advantage and elected to participate in our machine learning reporting and benchmarking program.
The information provided by machine learning reports includes machine utilization breakdowns, fuel use, and machine speeds and settings. Benchmark reports provide farmers the ability to anonymously compare machine efficiencies with regional competition. This report allows the customer to compare their machine utilizations against other machines in the area with the same model and similar working conditions. This data gives the customer an idea of what level of efficiency is possible for that specific machine model. It also provides regional averages to help gauge their own performance to see what kind of improvement is attainable.

Our goal is to add as many tools to the farmers' toolbelt as possible. If it helps the farmer, it helps us, which in turn, allows us to provide better support to the customer. This creates a positive feedback loop. As the customer says, we are not changing the world with these reports, but it is another piece of value added.
